Dermal Filler for Lips and Lines
Fillers are small injections of gel, typically made up of hyaluronic acid - a substance that naturally exists within the skin. They are designed to fill in wrinkles, create contour, add volume to the skin and lips and are now used in micro doses to revitalise the skin. You can have dermal fillers in different parts of your face: around the eye, cheeks, nose, mouth and jawline, as well as lip fillers administered directly into the lip tissue.
It is a cost-friendly and non-invasive alternative to a surgical procedure. Dermal Filler injections are generally used to target these cosmetic challenges:
Common & Normal Side Effects
Redness, swelling or tenderness in the treated area. This is a normal result of the injections and will generally disappear within a few days.
LIPS - The initial swelling after a lip enhancement treatment may last longer.
Russian Lip Technique - There can be extreme swelling and bruising initially and you must be prepared for this.

Bruising is a common and expected side effect with any dermal filler treatment. It is very likely that you will bruise in whatever area you are being treated, so please be prepared for this and expect it! It will not effect your end result.
Please plan your treatments accordingly (NOT 2 DAYS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING OR A SPECIAL EVENT)
In order to reduce bruising it is important to adhere to the aftercare regime. Please avoid any medications containing NSAIDs, aspirin, vitamin E and ginseng for the week prior and week following a treatment unless medically necessary, in cases where the use of these medicines is for treatments please discuss with your GP prior to stopping any treatment.
Aftercare
Please be aware that mature skin and clients prone to deep lines will need more filler for really great results. 2ml spread across deep marionette lines for example will not give the same result as using 3ml-4ml.
The amount of filler required will need to be agreed through consultation, this can be done through video call for your convenience. All areas can be targeted, 3ml plus can include and be spread across; Nose Augmentation (Non Surgical Rhinoplasty), Chin Contour, Jawline Contour, Jowl Re-shape, Cheek Definition, Marionette lines, Nasal Fold Lines. Dissolving Filler - £100 45m
Patch test is required 24hrs prior to his procedure.
Occasionally once you have received a thorough consultation it may become apparent that dissolving existing filler is necessary before proceeding with new filler treatments. This could be to due to various reasons including product has gone lumpy or there is too much product in one area. To get a fabulous result from your filler it is always best to dissolve any previous filler that could hinder new results.

- Apply a cool compress to the treatment area (do not apply ice directly to the skin) for 10 minutes every half an hour on the day of treatment.
- Avoid any heat inducing activities for 24 hours such as strenuous exercise, spas, saunas and hot showers.
- Avoid pressure on the area for the first 48 hours (sleep on your back if possible, no face down massages).
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours (However for those wanting the best results from their fillers we recommend that clients abstain from alcohol for 7 days prior and 7 days post treatment for optimal results….eishh who said beauty was easy).
- Avoid active cosmeceutical products (AHAs, retinols, vitamin C) and oil based makeup for 24 hours.
- Use a topical treatment to soothe and calm the skin such as Bepanthen or Arnica cream. Use this three times/day for the next 7 days.
- Avoid facials, waxing, chemical peels, skin needling, microdermabrasion, IPL or laser treatments for 2 weeks after treatment.
- Do not massage the treatment area unless instructed to do so.
